BIG prizes available on and off court as the betPawa Playoffs begin
For the second year running, betPawa and the Rwanda Basketball Federation (FERWABA) are working together in a partnership that sees us sponsor the upcoming betPawa Playoffs.
FERWABA President Desire Mugwiza said: “We are thrilled to announce the upcoming betPawa Playoffs for the RBL24 season, a pivotal event that will showcase the incredible talent and competitive spirit of Rwandan basketball.”
“The betPawa Playoffs are not just about crowning a champion, they represent the culmination of months of hard work, dedication and the relentless pursuit of excellence by our players, coaches and teams,” he added.
We’re the official partner for the Division 1 men’s and women’s leagues, All Star Basketball events and Car Free Day 3x3 games. And of course the betPawa Playoffs between the season’s 4 best men’s and women’s teams, featuring Patriots, APR, REG and Kepler.
betPawa’s Chief Commercial Officer Ntoudi Mouyelo noted: “Our players are the heart of the game and that is why as a brand our focus on this partnership is player rewards such as the Locker Room Bonus, where players from the winning teams will be celebrated with 65,000 RWF immediately after every match.”
The Locker Room Bonus is our one-of-a-kind initiative where players are paid a winning bonus, provided they make the match day squad list. It’s sent directly to their mobile money wallets immediately after a victory and before the players leave the stadium, hence the name.
“This year we have expanded the Locker Room Bonus to also cover the technical staff of the 8 teams in the betPawa Playoffs. These are the head coach, first assistant coach, and second assistant coach or team manager,” Mouyelo added.
Additionally, the partnership includes a 3,000,000 RWF prize for the top 3 teams in both the men's and women's leagues and a 2,000,000 RWF prize for both the men and women’s betPawa Playoffs Most Valuable Player (MVP).
